What is happening in America today

What are we doing to ourselves..????
We are slowly but surely selling off parts of our country and the economy to the highest bidder.
It is a shame that we cannot figure out how to change the landscape of America. We have forgotten what "doing a good job" is all about. We have fogotten that knowledge is the key to success. We now have the "E" generation. The "entitled" generation. The younger generation of today is standing there with a hand out expecting the rest of us to just give anything they want to them. What a shame. Can someone help me on this one?
